November 15, 2004 - Nutech O3 was chosen as runner up in the 2004 Wall Street Journal Global Technology Innovation Awards in the Environment Category.
The Wall Street Journal received 585 applications from around the world for the 2004 Technology Innovation Awards. Applicants included Xerox, IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Microsoft.

Applications initially were screened by Wall Street Journal editors, who narrowed the submissions to 120 semifinalists. Then, an independent panel of judges rated each entry to produce this list of winners and runners-up.

June 2004 - Nutech received a grant from the from the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration to fund a portion of the cost of designing and testing Nutech's advanced single point injection system. This technology, which will be installed on the British Petroleum tanker Prince William Sound, in 2005, will mark the final stage testing of this equipment. If all of the tests are successful, then the Nutech Mark III Single Point Injection System will be ready for installation on board all cargo freighters and oil tankers wanting to treat their ballast water in advance of the requirements of the pending National Aquatic Invasive Species Act.
BP Helios Award - In 2001 our Tonsina project with British Petroleum was nominated for a Helois Award for demonstrating environmental leadership. (PDF 236KB)
